Sales Rep – Big Commissions $$$

We are looking for an energetic sales professional for our Local Optimization and Online Marketing Services. Upward SEO (soon Big Fin Solutions) is an online marketing, web design, and search engine optimization company. The objective of this role is to obtain new business by representing our marketing solutions, making sales calls with prospects through a consultative needs-based selling approach, recommending the best online strategies to support the optimization of their business using online marketing solutions.

This is a commission only opportunity that includes monthly bonus opportunities and an aggressive recurring commission structure.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Working with prospects to develop customized, targeted online marketing solutions;
• Creating appropriate campaigns for customers based on prospecting activities, ensuring full optimization;
• Maintaining, renewing, up-selling products and services as necessary;
• Serve as a marketing consultant by providing industry insights through up-to-date knowledge of local online marketing and industry trends;
• Building relationships through networking; and
• Translate technical information into a digestible format that will educate and enlighten non-technical stakeholders.

To qualify for this position we require no less than three years demonstrated consultative-based selling of online business listings, digital media, or search engine related sales experience. A Bachelor’s degree is also preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
o Strong knowledge of digital media landscape, local optimization, reputation management, SEO/SEM, and/or an overall familiarity with the online consumer experience;
o Track record of success in consultative, solutions-oriented sales;
o Demonstrated understanding of needs-based selling – specifically:
o Conducting needs analysis;
o Developing ad campaign solutions and writing proposals; and
o Presenting proposals and assisting in closing deals.
o A high-energy, consultative approach;
o Openness, flexibility and the ability to learn quickly;
o Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
o The ability to explain technical information in laymen’s terms;
o The ability to multi-task, handle pressure and work under deadlines
