Summer Jobs Website

I’m excited to share our latest website development project, My Summer Camp Experience. This website is targeted at camp counselors and those who want to enjoy their summer. Each year, Trail’s End Camp and Chestnut Lake camp recruit more than 500 counselors and staff to run, manage, and support camp operations.

My team was very excited to work with camp leaders who understand that creating a meaningful experience for counselors and staff is paramount to supporting campers throughout the summer. I was personally very impressed with the team from both camps and am very pleased with the outcome.

The My Summer Camp Experience website is built on Themify and is customized to focus on the camp counselor’s experience during the summer. Custom videos, images, and FAQs, help potential counselors understand what’s unique about this combination of summer camps and the summer camp experience.

The best part of this project was the collaboration across all team members. We met weekly to check in on key milestones and my development team spent the remainder of the week programming, updating, and evaluating usability. I’m sure we will continue to make ongoing updates to the site, but I encourage you to check it out… or even apply for the best summer of your life!
